Warwick Hall

Opened in September 2016 as one of the area’s best performance venues.

Our assembly hall, The Guy Nelson Hall, was the focal point of school life and the heart of the community. It has faithfully supported our daily activities for five decades. However, the hall could no longer accommodate the School’s growing numbers in one place.

Warwick Hall is able to accommodate a wide variety of events with seating for up to 1000 people

This state-of-the-art hall has been built with the following aims:

  • Increase the capacity to 1,000 seats by installing a gallery
  • Install adaptable seating to include loose seats and telescopic fixed seats
  • Improve the flexibility use of the space by creating a single ground level
  • Enhance the acoustics of the auditorium to provide a first-class space for concerts and spoken events
  • Add a large new foyer space around the auditorium, increasing the hall’s uses, including the possibility of exhibition space
  • Add a performing arts studio for rehearsals and performances, which will also support the provision of Drama teaching
  • Provide a comfortable and suitable environment for examinations
  • Expand the catering and caretaking facilities to allow a greater range of functions and events to take place
  • Create a space that will lift the aspirations of all of those who use it
