An evening of Music & Readings commemorating 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War
A powerful and emotionally charged evening of words and music commemorating the end of the First World War. To include music by: Elgar, Finzi and Ireland, performed by the Chapel Choir and instrumental soloists: George Wilkes, Luke Barker and Tom Lester.
Musical items will be interspersed with poems and testimonies from soldiers and Warwick School students. The second half is devoted to Stravinsky’s iconic 1918 work The Soldier’s Tale performed by boys and staff.
