The Discovery Festival proudly brings you a little taste of Edinburgh, all presented in The Bridge House Theatre. Featuring previews of four new shows heading north this Summer, the theatre will become an Edinburgh venue for the day, operated by Warwick Arts Award students. The companies will get valuable experience of fast ‘get-ins’ and ‘get-outs’ to ensure the shows run to a strict schedule. Why not buy a fringe pass and see them all!

Three sirens are exiled from Ancient Greece, only to find themselves washed up on Hastings beach in 2018. Zeus has disappeared. Sailors aren’t really a thing. And if you hang about naked on a rock in a sleepy coastal town, you’ll probably get arrested.

Sirens explores how things have changed for women 2500 years down the line. Using breathtaking visual storytelling, stunning projections and an otherworldly electro-folk soundtrack, ZooCo’s diverse ensemble stages a riotous rebellion against social norms; a beautiful, honest and playful commentary on our age-old obsession with perfect women.

Sirens is creatively captioned with a BSL inclusive narrative.

★★★★ ‘Witty, winsome and inventive. It is rare to find such a generous ensemble as The Zoo Co’ – The Stage
