In aid of mental illness in adolescents, this inspirational evening of entertainment involving young musicians from local schools and a range of enlightening, diverse speakers will raise awareness and much needed funds to support young people and their families affected by mental illness. Presented by Sally Bee, a local mother of three, author, TV presenter and columnist, the evening will feature a champagne reception followed by performances from various schools and a range of inspirational speakers. Midnight finish. Two local charities will be supported (Lifespace Trust – mentoring young people in local schools to reduce distress and build resilience), SOS – Silence of Suicide (facilitating open communication, eradicating stigma and raising awareness for those affected by suicide) and the national charity Young Minds (children and young people’s mental health champion, creating change so young people can cope with life’s adversities).
