Edinburgh Comedy Previews: Simon Brodkin and Heidi Regan

Bridge House Theatre

Avalon are the UK's leading comedy agent - we are thrilled to be presenting 6 great comedians over 3 nights as they preview their Edinburgh shows. Tonight's brilliant offering is:

Simon Brodkin and Heidi Regan

After 5 sold out shows at Leicester Square Theatre, acclaimed
character comedian and “the world’s most famous blagger” (The Daily Telegraph),
Simon Brodkin, Simon is back to work out a brand new show.

Star of Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer (Channel 4) Simon hit
global headlines multiple times for his high-profile stunts, including handing
Theresa May a P45 during her speech at the Conservative Party Conference,
showering disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes, and surrounding
Donald Trump at the opening of his golf courses with 60 swastika-emblazoned
golf balls.

“Simon Brodkin has finally and gloriously cast off the
shackles of Lee Nelson with a sublime piece of daft comedy.” - THE LIST

Heidi brings her silly, surreal style to relatable topics
like relationships, being the hot one in the couple (we've all been there), and
King Alfonso 13th. She offers expert relationship advice based on her extensive
experience of TWO whole relationships and makes a case for going back to the
time when she repressed all emotions with very stupid jokes.

With more than a decade’s experience as a comedy writer,
Heidi enjoyed a meteoric rise through the stand-up comedy ranks. She has won
two of the most coveted prizes in comedy; the So You Think You’re Funny? title
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016, before scooping the BBC New Comedy Award
prize in 2017. She has since gigged around the world, including performances at
the prestigious Just For Laughs in Montreal and tour support for Joe Lycett,
Phil Wang and Milton Jones.
