Whilst the balmy temperatures of July seem a distant reality to the current high-speed winds of an oncoming autumn, we are nonetheless still enthralled by our resident Warwick School Kraken.
Starting with the installation of a boat onto the campus, the sea monster began to take shape during the inaugural Warwick School Arts Festival in July of this year. The Kraken took five days to complete and was made from willow which had been sourced from the UK countryside, either from growers in Somerset or gathered by willow artists Mark and Rebecca Ford from the Sussex countryside.
