The Bridge House Young Company is the exciting new youth theatre resident to the Bridge House Theatre, a centre of excellence presenting professional work alongside and integrated with the best in theatre for young people.
The company will be made up of young people aged 11-18 working with industry professionals to create high quality theatrical experiences. Each term this group begins looking at a new project through skills based workshops which then lead into rehearsals for performances of varying scale.
Moving into 2019, we will widen the membership across Warwickshire, meaning Foundation students will work alongside other local students to create a dynamic and diverse new working group. This new phase of development will bring opportunities for holiday artistic residencies, full scale main stage productions, and eventually the chance to specialise in areas of expertise such as technical theatre, directing, and arts management, amongst others.
If you are interested in joining the group, we meet every Saturday during term time from 9:30am – 11:30am in the WS Drama Dept – please contact Mike Perry at m.perry@warwickschool.org for more details.

The Bridge House Young Company will also play a role in the School’s 2021 Development Plan which seeks to establish Warwick School as a nationally and internationally recognised beacon of excellence in the arts.
One of our main aims will be to create partnerships with local schools/arts organisations with a view to sharing resources, hosting events and providing subsidised opportunities for cutting-edge learning to the local community.
